SATURDAY BRUNCH

Out of necessity and habit,  I still prefer to wake up early on the weekend.
Firstly, my doggies could demand to be release outside for their morning duties.
Secondly I prefer an early morning exercise as there is less traffic, both vehicles and human and quiet time to prepare myself for the day.
Thirdly you can definitely get a lot of things done by the time the rest of the world wake up!

Some people could wake up around noon time, too late for breakfast and too early for lunch.
So brunch was created and on Saturday, Sarah and myself drove to Sooka Sentral for our brunch.

The Sooka  Sentral is a "lifestyle centre"  offering health, (gyms and fitness centres, read that one even offers indoor climbing as well), beauty (spas and wellness centres) and dining  (cafes, bistros) experience within the vicinity  of the KL Sentral.

Olives Sentral offers brunch from 10 am. to 3 pm on Saturdays.

The cafe is a pork free restaurant offering elegant indoor and alfresco dining.

We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff.

The Olive's Egg Benedict- smoked duck slices (how come I cannot recall?) rocket salad, poached eggs on top of foccacia toast (or was it muffins?) with orange hollandaise sauce (watery). Both of us felt that if the eggs could have been poached maybe a minute longer, then it would be perfect as it was a bit too raw for us.
Breakfast Platter - chicken/beef sausages, turkey ham or beef bacon with a salsa of edamame beans, corn and tomato, some sauted mushroom; toast and 2 eggs- your choice of cooking style- scrambled, sunny side or poached.
We had the scrambled eggs which was smooth and creamy.

Selection of either coffee, tea or fruit juices was included.

We waited for about 15  minutes before the food arrived.
I find the seating was rather close to each other and hence a bit lack of privacy otherwise the atmosphere was rather easy going and relax (perhaps most of us were just coming out of dreamland :D!) and noise level muted as most people seemed to be occupied with their electronic gadgets.
