ICHIJU SANSAI

16/9/2018
Sunday

For three consecutive long weekends, my sister has been staying overnight at my house, assisting me in making the mooncakes. Finally after completing the orders, tonight we went for a good dinner @ Bukit Jalil..

"The traditional cuisine of Japan (和食 washoku) is based on rice with miso soup and other dishes; there is an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. Side dishes often consist of fish, pickled vegetables, and vegetables cooked in broth. .....The phrase ichijū-sansai (一汁三菜, "one soup, three sides") refers to the makeup of a typical meal served, but has roots in classic kaisekihonzen, and yūsoku cuisine. "

We were informed by the owner that their concept is just like above... homely-style Japanese meals cooked with seasonal ingredients daily and they don't cook large amount so the sets are limited for the day.
