JASON'S WEDDING - PART 2

27/12/2014

Hey!....stealing kisses! .... and we are looking..... great acting on cue!

a straight-face photo ....

and now the "gumas" and  cousins turn to act .......

the father sending off the bride..... with the red umbrella to shield off evils while the mother scattered rice to bless her with abundance in her marriage...

The Chinese tradition for the bride to return to her maiden home 3 days' after  marriage is now substituted by walking around the car 3 times!

A filial bow of thank you for the care and love to the parents

And we are off, back   to KL....

arriving the house....

and the firecrackers went off with a BIG bang.....

Little Lucas's turn to  open the car door for Uncle Jason now.

Announcing the addition of new family member and  seeking blessings

Loudspeaker needed to call the father to come down ..... he is of the Chinese zodiac of Tiger which clashes with the bridal pair, hence he had to hide upstairs till after the prayers.....

Tea ceremony-
We playfully gave the "Tai Kum Cheh" the loudspeaker to announce the blessings!

After offering tea to the parents, then its the turn for all the elders of the family...

Guma May
I left the job of photo-taking to the professionals.... too many cameras in the picture.

Brother of the groom, Kenny and little Kenny and wife

The younger generation waiting in line for their turn .... to receive angpows from the bride and groom

One for my remembrance....

After everybody had their turn, it was time for lunch and goodbye till the night...

My sister-in-law with her mother

Brother Leong and family

Brother KK and family

With Sarah and Esther....

With my brother and his pretty daughters

Looking alike......
