Most people would visit Ipoh for a day trip- visit the caves, spend time eating and buying the local products and detour back home. Instead of rushing around, we decided to take it easy and relax and after our lunch and walkabout, it time to check in to our hotel.
read much about this novelty hotel and my review is indeed good ...
The hotel near to the town center yet was in a quiet area..
I just love this reception area especially the tradition Chinese medicine cabinets...
old colonial style with modern twist...
Hacks cough drops anyone?
the lobby was resplendant and opulent with big inviting sofas and cushions.
Notice the different chandeliers designs in the lobby and....
in the room, in fact throughout the hotel they are of outstanding designs.
This is a premier room, spacious and clean with all the amendities ...
and this is the premier suite.... this big double bed was just what we needed to rest our tired body and aching muscles!
one of the many individualistic items found in the room...
The hotel is a 3 storey building but each of the floors are different in design.
Ours was on the 3rd Floor - Excelsior floor.
the brightly decorated corridor.....
leading us to the ......
fully equipped gym.. the girls had a good time working out after all the foods....
The Myth Eatery & Bar
Most of the items in the hotel are available for sale too in the M Shop at the lobby. We loved and bought some of their handmade organic soaps.
old school style -coconut candies...
These wooden shutters/windows adorned the walls of the cafe...
Continental set breakfast... the garlic bun was very delicious.. .
We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is ample private car park.
