 6/10/2022 to 10/10/2022 Church Pilgrimage 

KUANTAN-KOTA BAHRU-CAMERON HIGHLANDS- IPOH-BATU GAJAH

Day 1

Our journey began here - meeting point for the bus to pick us up. 


a quick walkabout the church. 
Then its about 3 hours bus drive before reaching Kuantan.  During the journey, we had a wonderful time of worship,  praise and prayers  lead by Brother Clement who is our leader for the trip.  

Our first stopover for lunch @ Restoran Hai Tian

Time off to visit Telok Cempadak - Kuantan 

Surprisingly the beach is very clean

Day 2 

St. Thomas Church 


After morning mass we went back to hotel for breakfast and then its on the road again to Kota Bahru.

How can we not visit the iconic market in Kota Bahru while we are here.

Mass @ Fatima & Holy Rosary Church 
We are joining the feast day celebration !

They had a procession around the church at the end of the service.  Then it was time for buffet dinner (the cost of our trip also contribute to  sponsor a roasted lamb)  fellowship songs and dancing too. 

Goodbye and a much needed good night rest. 

Day 3 
Buffet breakfast at hotel.



On the road again towards Cameron Highlands. 
stopover for lunch at Gua Musang

Reached Cameron Highlands, visited the Strawberry farm, shopping for sweet corn etc before finally checked in Heritage Hotel before sunset. 
We had our buffet dinner the hotel.

Day 4

Sue with the eldest member of our trip. 



The Chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cameron Highlands 




Sunday service.
Departed from Cameron Highlands after service and moving on towards Ipoh.

After lunch we checked in to the Excelsior Hotel Ipoh. 

Visited the Church of our Lady of Lourdes



This church has just been newly renovated.  





Dinner was at a Hainanese restaurant run by husband and wife. 
delicious homecooked -style cooking 








Day 5 
I did not joined the group for the morning mass and breakfast. 
We checked out and traveled to Batu Gajah

visited the Gaharu Tea valley 










The best leader and guide - both of them were so patient and gentle with all of us- feeding us so well spiritually as well as physically. A BIG Thank you and God Bless.
