What to do when in Hatyai... shopping and more shopping .....
While the ladies hopped into the tuk-tuk for the market ...
the gentlemen went for their foot reflexology..
coconut ice-cream.... served with assortment of toppings.
Lunch was on our own.....
our favorite and must-have..for her- pork burgers and mango sticky rice for me... only complaint the coconut cream sauce was too watery
After lunch, it was time for some sight-seeing....
Bodhisattva Guan Yin, a 20 metres tall white jade statue..
you can get a panoramic view of the city of Hatyai..
the grounds of temple..
Next stop... the biggest new shopping mall in Hatyai for more shopping...The Central Shopping Mall.
time for some fun photos at the lobby....
the book shop, mostly books in Thai.
We took our dinner at the huge food court at the 4th Floor. There are varieties of Thai food available and reasonably priced too.
After dinner, it was showtime....
the lobby looked impressive... but
the show-stage was huge but looked sadly run-down. There were only a handful of other customers besides us. The boys did gave a hilarious show after all.
That the end of our road trip as we departed back to KL early next morning after breakfast.
What show did you watch? Ladyboys cabaret shows? I used to enjoy them in Phuket and Bangkok where they still show to full house nightly.
ReplyDeleteI think they are called Hansom.
