2D/1N YOGA RETREAT AT SONG YAN

Back to Nature...
our  lodging for the night is on the first level and we did our afternoon yoga session at the space below.

Owls  aplenty around the reception area...

our very basic eco-friendly room...you have to bring your towels and toiletries needs.  However the room and bed sheets are clean and the bed sheets will not be changed during your stay.  

After checking out the rooms, its tea- break ... Sweet Red Bean soup with 

you guess right?... durian pizza!

Come on, must try

And we were ready for the evening yoga session. 
After introducing ourselves, our teacher Shirlyn gave each of us a beautiful travelling pouch.  We were taught how to do the 5 Tibetan Rites exercise and some yoga stretches. 


By the time we finished the session, the sun was setting over the hills and everyone were busy getting some selfies and wefies.

After dinner,  as the surroundings darken, we went back to our rooms for a bath and to get ready for the night session.  We were taught how to use therapy balls to "iron" out our aches and massage along our meridian points and indeed we all have a good sound sleep after that .... accompanied by the sounds of the insects and crickets throughout the night.

We check out and headed back to KL after having our lunch at Bentong.  A big Thank You for teacher Shirlyn for the organisation and yoga sessions.
