Before our check out and departure, we decided to make a trip Haji Lane area.
We were quite unprepared for the quietness of the place - no wonder since most of the shops only open around noon time. So we just wandered around and took some photos of the quaint shopfronts. Most of the shops are just 2 storey old shophouses transformed by quirky ideas and decorations.

We checked out of the hotel and made our way to Novena Square for the coach back to KL.
After checking in with the coach company, there is still time for us to get our lunch at The Curry Times at the ground level. This cafe specialises with Malaysian/Nyonya cuisine and the food is served in enamelled plates and bowls!
Otak-otak served on pretty plate- it is tasty and delicious
Braised Soy Chicken - only complaint - not enough sauce!
By the time we boarded the coach, it had started to rain again. However thanks to the careful driver we had a safe journey home.
It was a wonderful time with my daughters. We had not been able to go to the Garden at the Bay or The Marina Sands and had to give away the tickets, so maybe that is a good reason to go down again?
Come again... hehe...
